It’s Just About Time for Sanpete County Fair!

I know that time flies by! But the fair is only one month away.

With the 5 new things you can add this year –

Best Chocolate-chip Cookie: Enter 6 cookies along with the recipe.

Cutest Apron: Enter the apron along with a card saying why you made it.

Sweetest Crocheted/Knitted item: Enter your item along with a card saying why you made it.

Coolest Science Experiment: Do the experiment, enter a tri-fold display about the experiment, and enter the experiment that you did.

For each of these there is a green-and-white ribbon worth $2, plus a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Kids Farmers Market: enter one produce, then you can sell whatever produce you have at the Kids Farmers Market on Saturday, from 1-7 – and keep the money.

and added to that from last year:
performances- enter poetry, play, skit, etc.
presentations – enter presentations with or without animals and tell us something.
For all of these entries, you get a green-and-white gingham ribbon that’s worth $2, plus a ribbon.
You have to enter these online at the bottom of the entry information. There are lots of reasons to enter the Sanpete County Fair.

Or you can go to our website, www.extension.usu.edu/sanpete , and on the front page to the left, or on the 4-H page, you will find links. You don’t have to have everything ready, you can sign up some later. Remember that ALL entries must be done online this year.

Problems
If names are not in the system after sign in, then you need to call Pyper at 283-7597. If you have any difficulties be sure and call Pyper so she can help remedy the situation. It’s important to enter sooner than later because that way we can consider any difficulties, problems or issues you may encounter; we may not have the ability to remedy it in time. We cannot be held responsible for any procrastination on your part. Enter early. Assistance with entering the fair will be available on July 20, July 27, and August 10 from 1-7, and on August 17 from 9-noon.

ALL ONLINE ENTRIES MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE 2:30 pm on Monday August 23, 2010. The online program is open and ready for input on July 8, 2010. It is open now.
